2010 Finals

Havn't included U20/21 this year as they aren't really juniors now. And remember we have a top 4 this year and not a top 5 so the numbers for everyone will be down about 10%.

So here goes

Boys

Sturt 15 out of 20 teams in finals or 75%
Norwood 15 out of 23 teams in finals or 65%
Forestville 13 out of 25 teams in finals or 52%
Eastern 5 out of 11 teams in finals or 46%
South 9 out of 20 teams in finals or 45%
Southern 9 out of 22 teams in finals or 41%
Woodville 3 out of 13 teams in finals or 23%
North 5 out of 22 teams in finals or 22%
Centrals 2 out of 9 teams in finals or 22%
West 2 out of 18 teams in finals or 11%

Girls

Sturt 14 out of 17 teams in fiansl or 82%
Forestville 13 out of 20 teams in finals or 65%
Eastern 4 out of 8 teams in finals or 50%
North 6 out of 14 teams in finals or 42%
West 4 out of 10 teams in finals or 40%
Norwood 7 out of 18 teams in finals or 38%
Southern 3 out of 11 teams in finals or 27%
South 2 out of 11 teams in fianls or 18%
Woodville 0 out of 8 teams in finals or 0%
Centrals 0 out of 6 teams in finals or 0%

Overall

Sturt 29 out of 37 or 78%
Forestville 26 out of 40 or 65%
Norwood 22 out of 41 or 53%
Eastern 9 out of 19 or 47%
Southern 12 out of 33 or 36%
South 11 out of 31 or 35%
North 11 out of 36 or 30%
West 6 out of 28 or 21%
Woodville 3 out of 21 or 14%
Centrals 2 out of 15 or 13%

Sturt seem to have maintained their dominance withgirls being in front of their boys, but their have more top placed finishes especially in div 1.

Forestville girls still very strong especially in div 1 and 2. Boys not so good, with their 18 boys especially being dissapointing.

Norwood have been the big improver in the boys, with a couple of top places their recruitmnt in U12s especially beneficial. Girls have not had the same recruitment benefits.

Eastern have performed above their numbers, even though their U18 teams have been a bit of a let down.

Southern have stepped up along with South, both skipping out over North. No real consistancy but some good teams here and there in the boys side.

North have been the big losers. Dropping out of the big 4 mainly due to their boys. But their U12 and U10s girls dont bode well for the future.

2 from West. Including the ex-ABA coach who liked to proclaim his club neutrality.

2 from North.

is that so tritan64. The 2 from west, well it pretty obvious why one of them changed. This was always on the cards from the day I met them. so no recruitment there. Other one from west was not happy and made his decision based on the fact he had something like 7 coaches in 2 years. He wanted to look after his own future and the flames was the next closest club. This what happens when you are told if you dont like it then leave, so he did. One of the boys from north also not happy with his club and mars was down the road. Nobody knew these boys were changing clubs until tryouts Dont know about the 4th kid. So as you can see there was no recruitment, this is fact not fiction like some of you seem to want to create.

This going on with recruiting (Poaching) all the time is getting boring. Please reply if your club has never done it before otherwise shut up and move on. People move from all clubs all the time so deal with it.

Anon who did the percentages please do it with the clubs who do not have a team in div 1 as well and include this as a missed final. That will give a real indication of where some of these clubs are at? ie Easter and Southern who do not have div 1 teams in some grades.
