ABL games to watch this season

Having a look at the ABL season ahead, what 5 games are shaping to be the ones to watch?

MEN

Woodville v Easterns 19/06/05 3:45pm The Dome
Any Grand Final re: match is worth a look. When teams clash for the first time after the GF, someone is always looking for sweat revenge.

Forestville V Sturt 9/04/2005 8:15 Wayville
This could be the biggest game of the season. If Forestville comes to play, then expect one stand out game. Wayville should be rocking and you will get more then your admittance fee. This city derby will be of the highest standard. If you're a basketball fan then keep this night free and make Wayville standing room only.

Norwood v North 8/05/2005 8:15pm The Dome
Wrestle mania XII is being held at the Dome and in the Blue corner we find Norwood 'King Hit' Flames and in the Red corner we find North Adelaide 'the elbow' Rockets. If you looking for the good old fashion game of lose elbows and hard at it style play, then forget about AAMI stadium and take a turn to the Dome.

Southern v West 9/04/2005 8:15 'The Cage'
These two teams go back along way and it has not changed today. Once these two teams where fighting it out at the top of the ladder, but this year could see them fighting it out at the other end. Not only do the teams have history, but the spectators do as well. West spectators take your body armour to the Cage for this one.

South v Centrals 21/05/2005 8:15 Marion
Some may laugh but this could be for a finals spot. South have shown they are better then preseason predictions and Centrals are desperate for some post season action. The way the season has started could see a log-jam for finals positions and this one could determine both teams post season dream.

WOMEN

South v West 2/04/05 6pm Marion
This game is set to show who the real deal is in 2005 or who is a pretender. South may have upset the Rockets, but one game does not make a season. West need to defeat a top ranked side to gain any credibility. Many questions will be answered after this game has finished.

North v Sturt 30/04/05 6pm Hillcrest
Sturt consider they have a real chance this year and need to beat the raining premiers to show they are.

Forestville v North 21/05/2005 6pm Wayville
Not much to say on this one except&. Grand Final preview?

South v North 4/06/2005 6pm Marion
This game because North will be out for revenge this season after the round 3 lose to South at Home. South will want to have the wood over North this season and clean sweeping them in the minor round.

Southern v Central 4/06/2005 6pm 'The Cage'
Not because of the standard but because of one simple reason. Could this be Centrals first win in living memory? I think a reward should be on offer for the last time Centrals women did not finish bottom or win a game for that matter. Centrals have shown signs so far this season of improvement and could this be the one? Southern would not want to lose this with the possibility of a wooden spoon.

How can Southern and west have a long history? they have only been around for two years! They come from a mixture of clubs ie. Southern districts, Adelaide Giants, Southern Suns, Glenelg Tigers & Noarlunga Tigers. Hardly a team with history or maybe a history of clubs that went bust.
