Heard a rumor that Jawai is pulling out of the boomers for this WC.
Due to family reasons.
We have a lot of bigs anyway good luck to him. Not a huge lost anyway.

Not sure about this rumour...hen is after all playing his trade in the 'States as I type, so if there was an issue you would think he would be at home already.
Any news link to support the rumour?

yeah who did you hear this rumour from? Ive heard a rumour michael jordan is coming back to the NBA and andrew bogut is quitting milwaukee to come play for cairns.

His agent is probably pushing for him to sit out. With the state of his physical condition, he will only do his NBA/Euro stocks a world of bad...just a conspiracy theory i have.

Family issues? If true he seems to have a heap & drops the game quickly - something that will begin to look really bad on his resume!
Sit out again....after sitting out the Olympics (he may not have made it, true)...
So,obviously, with National teams if you aren't committed 100%, get outta the way.Lucky we have developed some major big talent over the years to cover his possible absence. It doesn't surprise me at all...he is so grossly out of shape, does he really want to be a pro?

He couldnt do olympics cause of the draft. you dont know anything...

Tep, pretty sure he was told he was not a certainty to make the Beijing team and decided to concentrate solely on the NBA Draft.
Jawai is a big part of our future, and without Bogut or Maric he will be an important bench player this year too, let's hope he is playing and in shape.

A really close source said he is trying to get into shape and will be no good for the team that why he pulled out. He think there are other bigs that can give more than him... Plus he has a family. A lil baby on the way. Congrats to him. wish him well.
Hope he gets back into shape and be back with the boomers program.

Instead if making a generic statement like "you aussies are so dumb" perhaps you can provide some evidence to back up your information about both Jawai pulling out of the Boomers program and aussies being so dumb. Its not a difficult request.
Being new to the forum your posts will have more credibility if you included references (before you can be considered a reliable source for rumours).

He's having a baby so fair call for pulling out,
But he's out of shape as seen in the recent series vs Arg and a less than outstanding summer league..
I doubt he'd be an automatic pick for the current WC team and he's going to need a miracle to get back into a NBA team, I'm betting on a euro team or a return to the NBL
