See Aussies did good beating USA.....notice only on team sheet........didnt they pick 12?

Definitely took 12 - maybe illness or niggles sidelined the other two. Interesting box score - Aussies smashed them in the first quarter (28 - 9) and while the US fought back couldn;t quite get to the front.

A very positive start but as 206 says - its just a warm-up. I seem to recall the Boomers doing pretty well agains the US leading into the Beijing Olympics?

the US will do what they always do, learn to play as a team during the warm-ups and preliminaries, and get better and better as the tournament proceeds. Most teams arrive more cohesive, but as the US gels they often find it difficult to contain their talent.

Agree with HO, USA will improve.
Looking at the box score they shot at a horrible percentage whilst our girls shot the lights out. I probably wouldn't expect that to happen come finals time at Worlds.
That being said this team is very talented and should definitely be up for a medal finish! Good luck girls
