Celtics vs Lakers: Game 6

So can the Celtics win game 6 to secure their NBA Championship, or can the Lakers force the finals to a game 7 to also be played on their home court at the Stapples Centre?

I'm hoping for a Celtics victory.

If you can't watch the game live due to being at work like me, at least you can follow the ESPN Live stats here: http://linky.com.au/4h9bd

Celtics trail 18-28 at the end of the 1st quarter.

Kobe has 11 whilst Artest has 8 for the Lakers. Allen has 8 and Garnett 6 for the Celtics.

Celtics are looking really shaky right now, down by 20 at the main break.

Kobe has 15 and Artest 10, with 15 points coming from the Laker bench.

Allen has 13, Garnett and Pierce 8 each, with no points coming from the bench in the first half!

Celtics shooting 34.1% compared to Lakers 47.7% from the field so far.

Celtics big man Kendrick Perkins landed awkwardly trying to haul in an offensive rebound midway through the first quarter, injuring right knee and has been taken away for x-rays.

Not good news for Celtics fans.

Celtics getting towelled up by the Lakers, down by 21 with both teams emptying their benches for the final couple of minutes.

Get set for Game 7.

The Lakers shut down the Celtics defensively today. Beat em at their own game. This one's goin the distance.

If the Lakers bring that intensity to game 7, there is no way they lose this series. I personally think Lakers will win in 7 with Kobe getting the team involved like he did earlier today.

The only way Perkins doesn't play is if he has done major ligament damage. Otherwise he will be on the floor. This has been a great series, hopefully we have a cracker of a game 7!

This has been an awesome series, when was the last time we saw 7 games in the finals? Every hunch I've had about this series has been wrong, after game 1 I was sure the Lakers would sweep, then I was sure the C's would win game 3, and for today's game I had my strongest feeling yet that the Celtics would get it done.

I feel that the Lakers will take game 7 so hopefully that means we'll be seeing a Boston victory!

Celtics centre Kendrick Perkins has been ruled out of Game 7 with knee ligament damage.

For mine, this means the Lakers have the edge and should win.
