Up and coming talent.

Just wondering if anybody knows who the next 'generation' ballers are. 22 and under from the aba. Particularly Seabl, Big V and QBL??? Who's making a name for themselves? Maybe the top 10 or 20...

You read my mind anon. Absolutely carving U20's and putting up real good numbers in the CABL for a 19yo. Top 5 in scoring I believe, in a pretty strong Sturt outfit. Would be pretty annoyed if 36ers don't throw him a development spot. Unlike a few development players the 36ers have had over recent years I reckon this kid can make it.

Josh Wilcher who currently plays for Ballarat in SEABL D League. Averaging over 20pts a game and clearly a star of the future

Shaun Bruce (brother of Aaron) is also at Ballarat this year and is tipped to be better than his brother when aaron was the same age.

Chris Patton who plays for Dandenong is also a big star on the rise. Both Chris and Josh picked to attend a NBA camp in singapore later this year.

Austen Flint is playing at Bendigo and is doing really well. he is off to college in USA i think so look for big things from him.

Also attending the NBA camp in Singapore are Corey Maynard, Jan Warbout & Tom Daly from South Oz. They should all be in the mix over the next few years.

Most of the boys that played state u/20s are doing well (not just the sturt boys) but not all of them like to blow their own trumpet.. Brandon is doing well in u/20s scored 41 pts the other week

Also Stefan Osborne from Ballarat is putting solid numbers up when Wilcher and Bruce are not playing. Every game he is able to get some shots up, he puts a score on the board. Cam McCallum is also a huge asset in the Ballarat side too.

Don't rule out Moses Guthrie's Tribe. Their height and her smarts, will be good.

Her smarts? Harsh Clem, harsh. Kids had their first overtime clash Monday with #6 defeating #10 in a cliffhanger. Tears on the way home. Tough times at the Guthrie household, tough times.

Osborne had a huge game Saturday night against Dandenong. With Josh Wilcher and Shaun Bruce not playing it gave him an opportunity to show his stuff. He had 23pts 53%fg 38% 3point, 4/5ft, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals. If he keeps this form up while those players are out for injury or Miners duties, he should get another call up to the Aussie u/19 team.

Pity Maynard is going to a horrible team in Bryant, joing Claybrin McMath. He should get every chance to shine on that team!
