Tovey to unretire, sign with Wildcats?

It could be up there with the shortest retirements in professional sporting history ... a whopping 29 days.

Former Crocodile Cameron Tovey is just a pen-stroke away from announcing he will play for Perth in 2010/11 after the NBL champions offered him a deal he could not refuse.

The talented swingman initially looked destined to walk away and attempt to set himself up for a life after basketball following a decision to become an accountant with worldwide firm KPMG in Perth.

But the Wildcats are giving him a chance to do both and Tovey has jumped at the chance.

It's ike when CJ told the Bullets he was going to play in Europe and asked for a release, then signed with NZ!

Hey if you can do both why not!

He was under the impression it wasnt possible but the wildcats have offered a good deal that allows both to happen
