The longest trip between clubs.

I am sure the junior scheduled is planned to maximise the outings....

Norwood/West women is a 50:50 game.

Eastern/Sturt women on Sunday will be an opportunity for Eastern to show us how good they are.

Jack Toft, the Forestville/Eastern game will be the opportunity for Eastern to prove how good/how much talk they are. My guess is that the will be pretty quiet on the Hoops front come Monday.

What is the deal with the ABL players who have been playing in the HSH tournament are they playing this weekend in the ABl teams?

Players like Daly, Dodman Hill and Ng?

Women: Eagles 82 Mavs 49

Tess got 22 of those. Team shot 24% FG and 7% 3P%.

Probably not going to be a powerhouse this season one would suggest

Most results went as expected, albiet close games. Centrals men went down to Tigers in a close one. Tigers purring all the way home to the Vale

Mens South/North game looked like it could have been scrappy, anyone at the game?

Good to see the Rhino back on court.

Centrals went down by 6 to the Tigers in a game that had it's ups and downs and a couple of injury scares for the Tigers.

3rd quarter saw #14 (dunno about names) injure his knee (looked pretty bad) but he returned and managed to play out the game.
4th quarter saw a big clash between #40 and #25 from Tigers, ending the night early for #25 as he stayed down for a while.

Overall a decent game, not sure if I am a fan of the Centrals import (or their coach for that matter)

Eastern had 2 players away with Nationals...

Well done to Forestville, but result would've been closer with Talbot and Wilson playing.

#273929 I'm pretty sure they also would have been better with a decent coach, but no point in harping on what could have been.
I'm sad that we will not get to hear about how awesome Mavs women are this week on Hoops - what is everyone up the hill going to talk about now?

04, care to talk about something other than Mavs? You've posted 5 times, and 4 posts are about Mavs.

i was at the mavs v fville game and saw the eagles girls play pretty good defense on tess who i think acted very petulantly when calls didn't go her way. even though she went to the free throw line at least 8 times. very lucky not to get a tech foul from a pretty leniant senior referee.
especially after he called a charge on tess in the 2nd qtr.
same with brenton who bailed said referee up at half time.
impressed with mia newley who just got on with it even though she could have had a few calls go her way.

Harry - you obviously don't mind a spot of fishing.

I was there. Our POV's differ, but your team won. Put your rod away.
