Penney is class on and off the court and is a great ambassador for the sport in NZ.
My young nephews have been lucky to have him and other Breakers come to their mini ball games and Penney and Bruton are the ones they look up to most.
If they ended up with a 3rd of his skills I'd be stoked hard.

It will be an interesting contrast for Kirk, going from one of the most unselfish, team orientated pro teams around to a league where most players are just trying to show off their skills.
Hopefully he gets on a team with a good point guard who gets him some nice looks. Would be great if he could stick on an NBA roster heading into the playoffs as Schenscher did a few years back.

Burger King NZ Breaker Kirk Penney has been drafted by the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the NBA Development League and will play his basketball in South Dakota for the next few weeks at least.

Kirk Penney has been lighting it up. Had a 40 point game a few days ago. a couple of 12 point games and a 32 point game I believe
