I notice that another change has occurred to this program. Now apart from playing during school holidays the first 5 weeks have two byes when there are even number of teams. How can that be so??

and damn 6.00pm games - my kid finishes TAFE at 5.30pm and buses from the other side of town and I am sure at this age most would be at TAFE, UNI or WORK and yet u18 boys who are still at school on Fridays play most their games at 9.00pm or 9.30pm - go figure

There was no make up game because it was not going to change the top 5 placings so there was no need to play it. ( rember it was the silly season anyway) And if you dont like it dont play!

ss, that's not the point in regards to your comment 'don't like it don't play'. Of course people want to play, they love the sport just the people organising it have no care for U20s.

Silly season or not we still pay fees, pay entry fees and where there and want to play serious basketball. It's like farce that promotion/relegation in senior grades was for the summer. How many div 4 mens teams seriously treat the summer like a pre-season? None, just put them into a rounds system with finals and make us play for something, even if it means little to most people or if it's only 'just summer'. I'd rather pay my money every week to play for little, than nothing at all.
