Victorian state team selection

Is it normal that players who played the ECC are the only players who are in the state team. Checked the names of the U18 boys and all the players were in the squad for ECC. The U18 girls have 2 other player who were unavailable for ECC in there selection. Why is there a selection process? Will the same trend continue for the Under 16 teams?

The ECC Selection is part of the U/18 process. The Nationals are in April and the team is selected from the ECC Squad.

If you need any more eveidence, have a look at NSW, ACT and SA and see if their teams resemble their ECC squads. The only one who may not is SA as they had a kid at the AIS and is part of SASI.

Anymore reasons to complain !!!!! Just get off your arse and work on your game instead of shit canning everyone who is successful in these trials.

SA send a SASI team not a state team so it's different and SA only send one team opposed to NSW and Vic with 2 or so.

Point being, SA will have kids in that SASI program that will go to the Nationals in April. See how the NSW team stacked up as previously the ECC was a tournament that was not supported by the better players, now that the Nationals loom, they treat it as part of their SELECTION process

I think you will find the 2 Vic Players that were unavailable for the ECC were both at the AIS.This made them instant selections into the state team so the others were selected to fill 8 spots.Vic state team was announced the Saturday morning on arrival back to Melbourne
