Sixers in the NZ NBL

For general news and a season preview on the upcoming NZ NBL season, head to KiwiHoops.

A few Sixers and an ex-Sixer are playing there during the off-season:

Easy LPG Bay Hawks gain Dusty Rychart and Derek Moore. "Player to Watch: Dusty Rychart was one of the Aussie NBL's most consistent players and if he can replicate his solid double-double form in NZ, he may supplant Majstrovich as the league's dominant performer."

Nelson Giants have replaced an injured import with Jacob Holmes. "Spanich, Holmes and Mika Vukona will likely fill the other starting spots."

Manawatu Jets have retained David Cooper. "Aussie David Cooper, the 2003 MVP, returns to dominate around the paint, assisted by Miles Pearce."

The Sixers line-up and their off-season is roughly as follows:

Jacob Holmes - NZ NBL
Brett Maher - Turkey
Willie Farley - back in the US, not sure
Dusty Rychart - NZ NBL
David Cooper - NZ NBL
Darren Ng - CABL, Sturt
Oscar Forman - CABL, Sturt
Paul Rees - udder tugging, no idea
Brad Hill - SEABL, AIS
Jason Williams - Mt Gambier
Mark Nash - CABL, West
Todd Gower - CABL, Sturt
Nick Hambour - CABL, North
Brad Gerlach - CABL, Southern
