Anyone know what happened to the Lightning's Strike Squad? Started with a bang and ended with a whimper. If gone, it's another example of why private ownership eventually will end basketball hopes of a revival because everything owners do is on a whim.

Dont think it has anything to do with owner. Think its got more to do with Management, coaches and current Lightning players not wanting to organise or give up their time.
Sad really cause it was a great idea that alot of the ABL coaches got behind and encouraged their players to be involved with.

Well you need some coaches in the program who can teach and develop.
Currently they would just be watching there backs, because they aren't coping with the one team they have, let alone another squad!!

exactly the lightning have underachieved thus seaon and the kids are burnt out
where will all this extra training go ?

Sofa, the question you should be asking is how the hell she got to the AIS in the first place and the second question worth considering is why do the lightning keep picking dud guards that justifiably don't get a run? A lot of people can answer that one.

I'd luv to know how the current MVP, Halls medal winner AND all star five player Kerrin Webber not even get a phone call from Vicky asking her to be involved with the squad.
She only signed Sam up once she released she wasnt going to get anyone else (that wasnt injured that is.)
Vicky has to go.
