Corey Williams named Round 14 POTW
Townsville Crocodiles' point guard Corey 'Homicide’ Williams has been named the National Basketball League’s Player of the Week for Round 14 after guiding his team to a crucial victory over the Perth Wildcats.
Taking on a higher-ranked Perth Wildcats team, Homicide scored 24 points on 7-of-16 shooting from the field and went 10-of-12 from the charity stripe. He also had a game high seven assists as well as three rebounds, helping the Crocs to score a vital 83-74 home victory. The win saw the Crocs move up into third place on the NBL ladder.
Petrie had 18 and seven to be runner-up while Tragardh had 17.7/6/2.3 over three games.
