West Div 1 u14 boys over sturt in good game - long bomb (from the back court) 3 pointer by west player as a buzzer beater before 1/2 time - classic shot - nearly picked up a foul as well!

Under 14 Div 2 Girls:

Southern Tigers Vs South Panthers

Southern by 21 points. So much for the Panthers being in the grand final in summer season. Altho I have heard they have lost a few in div 1 so had to fill in numbers in both divs. Pretty disappointing for the summer season runner ups.

Southern Tigers had a good win against Northern Rattlers. Northern Rattlers supporters gutter language & abuse makes them look like they should reside in Macquarie Fields.

woodville vs norwood under 18's game got cancelled because the lights went out, not sure if it's gonna be replayed or woodville will get the win since they were up by 4 with a couple of mins to go.

Sturt Div 1 U14 boys lost to west by three

16 Boys 1 and 2.1 both had big wins (sturt)

See that sportingpulse have listed woodville as a win to norwood 18B1. Heard from big wig at Mars that the momentum had swung norwoods way and to declare win to woodville is very unfair. What does everyone think? A draw? Replay?

Woodville led the whole game. Norwood had two players fouled out and others on four. Add to this the fact the Norwood coach was ejected in the first half and you can see it is the only fair result.

Old School - as I know who you are, I will leave aside your obvious bias!
Agreed that Norwood were really up against it given their foul troubles. However the fact remains that Norwood did have the momentum (and the ball), and had the game gone the distance, quite possibly would have been a draw or a Norwood win.
Whatever, it doesn't matter what any of us think, the result is a Woodville win.

As reported to me when over 60 fouls are called in an U18 game perhaps umpiring is a little over zealous, and the fact that coach was ejected for something that ref THOUGHT he heard said, leads me to think we are bringing up a generation of softies. When these kids get to national level they won't know what hit them. A Woodville player was teched for something very minor too, come on guys let the game flow & lets get these kids used to a little inevitable contact or they will never come up to scratch on national level. Woodville win or loss it doesn't matter except 1.50 left on the clock is a long time in basketball & sure anything could have happened.
