Aron Baynes shines in Europe
Australian Aron Baynes has been playing very well for Lietuvos Rytas in Europe (although he has been racking up the fouls).
Australian Boomer Aron Baynes threw down a nice one handed dunk against Entente Orleaniase in the Euroleague last week. The dunk was so thunderous it ranked number one in the Top 10 Plays of Euroleague's Week 2.
Baynes had six points and four rebounds as Rytas beat French side Entente Orleanaise 69-62 last Friday to take its Euroleague record to 2-0.
Rytas also extended its Lithuanian league record to 4-0 and Baltic League record to 3-0, so things are certainly looking good for the club.
The Cairns product is averaging 12.5 points at 62 per cent shooting along with 3.8 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game across four contests in the Lithuanian league.
He scored 16 points on 6-from-9 shooting with 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal in just under 14 minutes on court against Perlas on October 24.
