Nevill averaged 2.8 points, 1.8 rebounds in 8.8 minutes over four games. The 7-foot-2 rookie from Utah was brought in primarily so center Shaquille O'Neal would have a big body to bang into during training camp.

Nevill's NBA window may not yet have closed...some chat forums I came across suggest there may be some interest elsewhere, whether it turns out or not is another thing...

I cannot see Nevill coming back to play in the NBL this season. He could easily play D-League or get a decent contract like fellow Aussie centre's Aron Baynes or Aleks Maric achieved. Both of whom are going great guns.

Really surprised me when I read this thread header. With Zydrunas and Shaquille both being 35+ I expected Neville to be kept as insurance. However, I suppose Anderson Varejao, Jawad Williams and JJ Hickson are insurane enough. I think he will see some 10-day contracts a la Luke Schenscher.
