Went along last night courtesy of the 36ers (thanks guys) and had a good time. Great vibe in the room (few speeches from Ben Fitz, Mark Lewis, Ninny and then quick Q&As with each player), venue choice was perfect, etc. A few mentions of how close the 36ers (and NBL, I guess) came to not existing this year, but no individual run through of the SOS crew who deserve more credit for the money and time they're putting into the team.
Met Nathan Herbert who is a great guy and really hope he has a good time with the 36ers, got to berate Darren about his poor blogging efforts and convince him to join Twitter, and Dean from the 36ers revealed his talents auctioning off the very first signed singlet for 2009/10, nabbed for $2400 or so by Sam (I think that was his name) from Sprint Auto.
Tom Garlepp and Erik Burdon were introduced as part of the team. Obviously Ninny is a fan of both but the U23 rule has squeezed them just out of the ten.
Looks like good chemistry off-court and hopefully it translates to games.

Hey Anon. If you are going to be critical of the quality of the photos at least get yourself a proof reader before posting as the quality of the photos is better than your grammar skills.
