Wildcats: Frejie gone.... Smith in

The Wildcats have had look elsewhere after Matt Freije was torn leaving the states with his wife not sold by moving to australia. Since that the Wildcats have had to resort to plan B Theron Smith who has been playing in China, Smith is a ex NBA player and is 6,8, has great figures in the China league.

I remember there being concerns about Smith's attitude in his NBA days so hopefully for the Wildcats sake they won't be an issue.

Id take this guy in a second over Cortez Groves. If an Ex-NBA player is a team's plan B, why is our Plan A option Groves?

Former league leading scorer Groves? Terrible option.

I read on realGM (Wolves board) that they considered Ben Woodside as well (5-11 scoring point)... But settled on Frejie - as a result Woodside is going to France (pre-Frejie falling through)... Bummer by all accounts Woodside sounds like an interesting player...

paul, Groves isn't half the player he used to be. We signed Groves becauses he's proven, was flashy and people know of him, remember seeing him and I dare say he would being coming reasonably cheaply too.

stacking too much talent on one team is going to result in bad chemistry... there are 8 mins less to play as well
