36ers to name KIA as automotive partner

The Adelaide 36ers are set to announce their automotive partner as the same associated with the NBA, KIA Motors.

The President and CEO of KIA Motors Australia, Terry Im, will arrive at the Dome tomorrow to formalise the first partnership between the automotive giant and an Australian NBL team.

You have no idea. Kia is an affiliate of Hyundai which is from memory top 5 manufacturers in the world. I think Kia is 40% owned by Hyundai.

Do not tar your thinking of these two manufacturers based on their entry vehicles many decades ago. If we did we would never have bought Toyota's which is now the largest manufacturer in the world.

Tou talk about quality - the big three (ex big three) from the US are amongst the worst for quality issues.

I think it is great that we have attracted sponsorship from a large global corporation. Let's not bag our sponsors especially when it is not well founded
