Holmes added to Boomers team for China

The Adelaide 36ers will go into its pre-season series against Perth without Jacob Holmes as well as Matt Burston (knee) and Brad Hill (ankle).

Holmes has been called up to replace Mark Worthington who was injured in training before the Boomers game against New Zealand on Sunday night. FIBA rules prevent Holmes from joining the team for the second game of the series tonight, but he will travel to China for the Stankovic Cup against Turkey, Angola and China.

The 36ers will take Chris Molitor and Shannon Seebohm to WA and round out their squad with Tom Garlepp, already in WA competing in the SBL.

Thank god Jake has been added to the Boomers. He's got to better than the people playing his position in the game tonight!!
