Wouldn't surprise me if the approach had been made (as suggested). Once nepotism has got to that level, anything is possible. But if you gave the nod to DJ, for the rest of the season you would have to put up with BJ telling you how much you are underplaying him.

6ers looking at bj in a GM's type role. would be great for the franchise and could lure some big names to adelaide like soj, casey frank, etc.
whilst joey is a great coach, i still dream about bj staying on.
