Pennisi signs in Italy + more news

David Pennisi (ex-Razor, and potential Sixer signing at one stage) has signed with an Italian club. More on eurobasket.com if you're interested.

Phill Jones (from the Breakers) has also gone over to play.

"Former Sydney Kings import Stephen Jackson has been involved in a sign-and-trade deal in the NBA which will see the American swingman earn as much as Australian $59 million." From NBL.com.au

And the second Crocs import has been announced on TV in QLD apparently. A 3-4 man out of college in the US. Two new imports alongside some vets (Rose, Reidy), Oz names (Rillie) and quality youngsters (Quick and Newley) -- if the imports are any good, this may well be the team to beat.

Does Pennisi have an italian passport? He must, beacsue he is to ugglier player to be picked as an import. Man if a guy with a game as poor and inconsistant as Pennisi's can get a gig in Europe, the Sixers wont want to be holding there breathe for any decent players that don't get signed in Europe to make up the new lineup!

If they're looking in the SEABL (number of players picked up from there by NBL teams), then I think they might've given up on players entertaining the idea of playing in Europe.

David Pennisi is the man on and off the court... a great player and an even better bloke.. all the best with the Italian ball.. these guys that slag people off on here haven't made it past their local monday night 'A' grade basketball at best... so... shouldn't be getting into blokes like big dave...
