Boomers were up by 10 in 4th quarter before a
run of turnovers took it back level. Brazil got up 3 and boomers went for a 3 on the buzzer which looked like they fouled barlow shooting
it but no call from the ref.

I thought the same Isaac - did look a bit casual to me too.

I definitely think that should have been called a foul though. But as is normally the case, the ref's put the whistle away.

Good scoring spread for the Boomers. Brazil aren't that strong in comparison to Argentina though. Still, with the team we have there, it is a reasonable result, going down to Brazil's best team by just 3 after leading for most fo the game.

Varejao and Barbosa not in top scorers? Did they not play, or were they just quiet? How about Nene? Or is he injured?

Agree that the game didn't look very intense based on that video, but I'd feel better about a narrow loss to the Brazilians if I knew they were playing their NBA players, as well as their best locals.

OK - then no Barbosa and no Varejao then? I don't think Nene is playing. I would call the Boomers our Development team. I hate it when our national teams are called A and B etc...
