BA to announce broadcast deal tomorrow

Basketball Australia (BA) Chief Executive Officer Larry Sengstock will hold a media conference in Melbourne tomorrow (Thursday 30 July) for a major announcement concerning broadcast coverage of the 2009/10 National Basketball League season.

Sengstock will reveal full details of the NBL's broadcast partnership for the 2009/10 season as well as being available to answer media questions. Additional one-on-one interviews will also be made available upon request.

Melbourne Tigers superstars Chris Anstey and Mark Worthington will join Sengstock for the announcement...

It should be a you know good media deal which you know means we can you know build the game's profile and you know get more you know bumbs on seats.

I'm with you original anon- after the last spray that brought the game down, he should be forced to get some media training, and that's just where it starts!
Perhaps impending fatherhood has brought some common sense and tact into play...

That's what it is, plus possibly other games if clubs decide to arrange their own coverage for selected games.

The way I see it the only reason to have Anstey and Worthington there would be to see them eat humble pie and apologise about their earlier comments about BA being arrogant about insisting the league go ahead without the Tigers and Dragons?
