I wouldn't count out Metro. They seem to have got better as the week has gone on.
Always a chance in a semi, you only have to beat them once, but they will need the A game.

I do think Country will beat NSW metro however.

All arrived back this afternoon. A few injuries amongst the Metro and COuntry girls camps but both teams did really well. Silver and Bronze medals for these girls.

Good job to metro boys too who just missed out on a finals berth by a few points. Considering they wallaped NZ and SA Country in the cross overs its fair to say they were a legitimate medal contender.

No SA teams were ever in the running for the girls National titles. VicM paced themselves beautifully and came out strong when instructed.

The Metro team was a legitimate medal chance. If not for a brain fade from the bottom age kid who fouled with 3 seconds on the clock, with a tied game. Cost them a spot in a semi.
