Nationals have kicked off in Tassie, with games being able to be followed live at nationals.basketball.net.au.
Noted our SAM Men went down by just 2 pts to Vic Metro, the traditional powerhouse.
Without knowing anything else but that close result, could suggest for a very close/interesting/exiciting tourny!

The games can be followed live but I don't know if it applies to all or just some of them.
Go to http://www.nationals.basketball.net.au/ > U16 Champs > Live Stats and in the list you'll see the games that are Live. SAC are Live now.

Girls Metro are now in a possible 3 way tie after losing tonight to nsw met.
the Qld game on wed at 12 then the vic game thursday at 10 am will determine the fate of this group.
Lets hope they can get over the illness within the team.

SA Country girls are through to the medal rounds.
Wont matter about the Vic result tomorrow.

SA metro girls need to win both the next 2 to avoid a 3 way tie. which could be hard with Qld North winning by so much against NSW Met

Metro boys gave up a twelve point lead dropping to NSW Country today, Country boys split there double day. Both teams are 2-2
SA Country Girls look awesome, best chance for an SA Medal. Looks like taking all those coaches paid off!
Moose, Tasmanian trophies had to do overtime just to get their medals ready.
Metro girls unlikely to get to the medal round with NSW favoured on a head to head. A reasonable team that did not play to its potential and some awful shooting by a couple of girls. SAC girls to take the silver.

Great result for SA basketball girls both through to the medals hopefully they dont play each other till the gold medal game hats off to all players coaches and managers. Awesome job to all concerned.
