NBL closes in on Fox deal

The embattled NBL is close to securing a one-year deal with Fox Sports to provide more television coverage than last season.

Having endured the most tumultuous off-season of the NBL's 32-year history, the league will score big points when it announces the Fox deal that features a live Wednesday game each week, one game most Saturdays and the New Zealand Breakers' home games on Thursdays.
It is believed the TV deal, which will increase coverage after Fox dropped Saturday telecasts last season, also allows for teams to add games to the schedule if they, or a sponsor, are prepared to meet the production costs.

It would be great for BBall in Adelaide if we can get some FTA here.
And I hope with the Foxtel deal its not purely on the HD channel.
