If you could dunk from the 3pt line...

...would it count as a 2 or a 3?

In Space Jam, the Toon Squad trailed the Monstars by 76-77 with 9 seconds left. Then when Jordan dunks from halfcourt at the buzzer, the scoreboard flashes to "78-77." I always wondered why it didn't count as a three; shouldn't the Toon Squad have won 79-77? Must be a Space Jam blooper.

i always wondered why someone like MJ who could dunk from the foul line didnt try to leap from behind the 3 point line finger roll it in, or something
