8 Aussies invited to Nike All Asia Camp
Eight young Australian basketballers have been invited to participate in the Nike All Asia Camp to be held in Beijing from June 8-12.
Former Australian Institute of Sport Head Coach Rob Beveridge has been the Camp Director for the Nike All Asia Camp for the past five years and targeted promising young players that should go on to represent Australia.
Included are Australian Youth Olympic Festival Gold medallists Corban Wroe, Anthony Drmic, Jackson Aldridge, Mitchell McCarron, Igor Hadziomerovic and Daniel Trist, as well as Mitchell Creek, who led VIC Country to third at the Under-18 National Championships in April and Western Australia's Thomas Lewis.
Several young Australian basketball talents have attended the camp in the past including Boomer Patrick Mills and current Emu Bryce Arnott.
The majority of camp sessions will be conducted by NBA Head and Assistant Coaches, giving the group invaluable experience.
