Sixers 09/10 Season Tickets: Who's Onboard?

+2 right here.

Me and Dad will be at the Dome supporting the Sixers and the NBL in 09/10 and beyond - just like the last 15 years.

Can't tell you how relieved I am that the league survived and that the royal blue is back.

Huge thanks to 'the consortium' (or SOS for Boti's sake).

So... who else will be courtside and cheering Game 1?

The teams are yet to even discuss a league in person and seriously. Right now, Perth are saying they are only in if there's TV, govt funding and a naming rights sponsor.

I think you might be getting ahead of yourself?

If there is a league and a 36ers, I will be there.

I wonder what would happen to season tickets if the 36ers had to play out of the entertainment centre or if the league was a no go this year?
Would i still have my current seats in a years time if a new league starts?
I know this all sounds selfish and should be glad the team is still around but i have had my seats for many years and would hate the thought of giving them up.

Have already indicated my intention to the Sixers to retain my tickets. Looking to get better seats from those who don't sign up.

I will not be buying a season ticket with the type of teams that are in the league. No Tigers just sucks. Every year I would love to see us play the Bullets, Kings, Tigers and Wildcats.

The sixers will only be playing if there are at least 8 teams in the comp and they don't mean a seabl type team. Sadly I don't think there will be a team.

I'll be there Loco, if there's a league and if you promise to do that thing where you raise your hands in the air in disbelief for several seconds after Filmer makes one of his patented no-calls. ;)

fan, You can't think like that.

Now is the time of opportunity in a crisis.
Now is the time to support the team.
Now is the time to build on the good things
Now is the time to position the Sixers at the top of the pack.

I will be renewing my 3 tickets. I hope the SOS can get everything finalised & the current ownership make the transaction as smooth as possible for the SOS

Fan - BA have announced 6 teams with the 36ers to be the 7th. It has been reported the SOS are still keen to proceed with the current structure (6 teams)& are just waiting on Mal to sign off on it. Why make some poor comments without any valid comments to back it up?

Maybe it's not a poor comment, just not something you want to hear?

Perth are hinging their support on TV/govt/sponsor - that will be tough. Let's see if anything comes of the meeting today.

I won't be renewing - the games I was most interested in seeing were the Tigers and Dragons so with both of those teams out I've lost interest. I also expect that a lot of players will go overseas with reduced money, retulting in a poorer standard.

A 36ers team alive, they will get my money.

My arguement is that it was announced yesterday that only 6 teams have put in submissions to join in the new comp. I would of thought that if the SOS require a min of 8 teams (not including any SEABL teams) according to fan that they would have had a media release to state their position on this.

Regardless if Perth are in or out there are still only 6 teams (2 short) so based on what fan is advising the 36ers will not be in regardless of what Perth do.

I guess time will tell....

hereschenes - you know full well that's a 100% involuntary reaction. Besides, when you and your family miss something, it's like an instant replay signal :p

Isaac - yeah, you're probably right.

Hehe... I saw a guy doing the exact same thing in the background of the Mavs-Nugs highlights. You've got disciples everywhere, Loco!

To be honest, one of the biggest things I will miss if there's no season is all the lollies and chocolate that my mum brings to the games. Our posse is the envy of row N!

I actually let my season tickets lapse last year (was always going to be away for the first 3 home games), but will definitely buy 2 for 2009/10 if there is a season!

If the NBL and Sixers get going you have to give support to the SOS group for keeping our team going and where are the so called sports capital people with no team.
Know still a way to go but not knowing facts good on the SOS group hanging in there.
When it does good riddance and good bye to grubby groves and sidekick mal.
Who nearly brought the whole league down with their last minute stunt

I'm with a lot of others here. If there is a 6ers this year, I will renew my tickets.

However...if the NBL thinks it can take 12 months off and expect me to be there waiting like a little pup, then they are wrong.

Like Mix Master I have also had the same season tickets since the Power House started. I had tickets in around the same spot when we still had Apollo. The Dome is purpose built for Bball. Take a leave of absence or move to the Ent Ctr and you have lost me.

My comments were made after hearing the results of an SOS meeting last night. They are having another meeting tonight hopefully it will be more positive after the BA meeting today.

And yes I will be getting my season tickets if we are in the league - truth be know i'd still buy tickets if there were only 2 teams in the league as long as one of them were a 36er's team

If I end up spending more time in Adelaide than what I have lately I'll also be there for sure.

I'd love to say yes but in all honesty I'm a little worried about what sort of roster we are going to be able to afford with a slashed salary cap...

I'm sure once teams and players are revealed i'll jump on board like others
