Blaze Boi- He has to go through the draft. If he goes undrafted then they can sign him.

I'm not sure what to make of it as Toronto only have pick 9 this year (nothing in the second round) and OKC have 4, 29 and no second round picks. It seems they either plan to trade for a pick to get him or they think he might be first round material.

Unfortunately for Joe i think he is just there for any extra body at these workouts at the moment.

Apparently he looked good in Toronto.

"The last player from yesterday's sextet was Australian Joe Ingles, a very intriguing prospect. Ingles nearly declared last year but decided to withdraw in the end in order to beef up his game for this year's draft. He's incredibly long and at 6-7, has great size for the 2 guard spot, apparently the position he mostly plays, and is quite skilled offensively. I was a bit leery of his ability to play a guard position at first glance, wondering if his game wasn't better suited for the 3 or 4, however in drills, he was absolutely lethal from long-range and also displayed some great one-on-one moves, at one point beating a much smaller and quicker defender and cramming it down. Ingles will need to bulk up a bit but I wouldn't be surprised to see a team taking a flyer on him late in the second-round and stashing him overseas for a while. "

He will probably look good in the workouts as he is very long and athletic. Which NBA teams love.
He will need to shoot well and prove he can play as SG/SF on D and offense.
If they think he is too slow to guard SGs he may struggle to get drafted.

Hopefully he gets picked up late in the Second Round
Portland, T-Wolves, Suns and SA have 2 picks late so they may be willing to take a risk with him.

Hey, maybe the Celtics can get him late and turn him into their replacement James Posey in a few years! That would be nice, but probably a little too late for the Big 3 era!

Will not get drafted. The reason he played NBL and hasent really improved much over the past 2 seasons like college players do. Sorry Joe looks like Europe for you.
