Interesting results in the women's last night.

Norwood must have played well against the Rockets.

Sturt without Marino and Monique Bowley take it strong to Forestville (it looks like Sturt did welcome back Brigid Bowley - taht will provide some more substance to the sabres)

West without Kate Jenner pushed by Woodville.

I thoought last year was a close competition this year is fantastic!!!

Mens ladder is starting to look a little steep through the middle, with three wins between third & sixth. North could be a dark horse though, with the next three games against lower ranked opponents (South, Southern, Centrals) than do Sturt (West, Eastern, Norwood) or Southern (Forestville, North, West). North could be in fourth spot after round 9.

The West v Forestville game in round 8 will sort out the top three. A West win would even up the top 3 with one loss each.

The Woodville coach must be pulling his hair out with the performances of some of his so called high profile players.
