You actually have to wonder how strong this consortium is if they need an additional $200k to get over the line?
Did anyone see the article today in the Tiser (page 64) re Adelaide United. They are looking at bringing investors on board. One has an est net worth of $170 mill while the other names mentioned are all on the BRW's young rich list meaning their worth more than $20 mill each.
These are the people that Bball need to attract - even just one will do.
You just hope the people involved have the capacity to be able to inject cash into the franchise on an ongoign basis as required as it might take some time to turn the business into a profitbale entity. You don't want to be back in this same position in 12 mths time because of small mum are taking a hit financial & they are not strong enough to ride it out.
I hoep something can be worked out but at the same time I hope due diligence is done & a 5 yr model plan is adopted to add some stability
