Spurs @ Mavericks *Spoiler*

Just checked the box score and was thoroughly amused by it...

Duncan: 25pt (FG 7-13), 10reb, 7ast, 2stl, 1bs
Parker: 43pt (FG18-29), 5reb, 3ast, 4stl, 1bs

AND....They lost?!?!? WTF

I think Spurs dynasty(?) is coming to an end

If they had Ginobilli they would have won, without a doubt! Parker and Duncan shot great %'s, but if you look at the other members of the Spurs, no one else gave any valuable contribution--The next best scorer was Finley who had just 7!
Duncan + Parker = 25/42 from FG
Rest of Team = 6/28 from FG

Watched the game...only Duncan and Parker looked like scoring for the Spurs and this hurt them in the end as nobody else could score! The Mav's shut down Bonner on the perimeter and the Spurs only got close late in the game due to Parker and rookie Hill connecting on a couple of threes.

Dallas actually looked really good for parts of this game, and then they nearly thre it away down the stretch.

Hate to point out what should be glaringly obvious, but the spurs won championships averaging about 90pts.

The problem is that the spurs are not the defensive team they once were.

Losing Bowen to father time has hurt them more than losing Manu.

Healthy young Duncan and Bowen would of kept the Mavs to under 90.
