What do the numbers indicate? Is it a measure of the athletes' impairment? I'm guessing there might be some sort of points cap that limits the combined ability of players in the team or on court?

Players classification points.

1.0 - 4.5 in 0.5 increments. 1.0's are generally paraplegics (or similar), 4.5's are (generally) single leg amputee. I am sure you could work out the rest

up to 14 points per team on the court at one time. If they go over, the coach wears a tech.

congrats to robins, doyle and mcphail who will make their rollers debut.

They'll be very hard to beat even with 3 or 4 Beijing boys missing. The talent pool in the men runs pretty deep.
