Lacey's ISU vs Stanford ***Spoiler***

Have been watcing live stats of the Elite 8 game between Australian Alison Lacey's #4 Iowa state versus #2 Stanford - live on ESPN Australia right now.

Lacey is not having a good game and her team is being monstered by just 1 player from Stanford - Jayne Appel. Jane Appel had 27 points to half time and with just 1 minute left in the game, she has a bohemoth 46 points (18/27 shooting) to go with 16 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 blocks - amazing!

"It's a tremendous honor, but I couldn't have done it without the other four players on the court," Appel said, when asked about her new school record for points.

The 46 points is the third highest total in Women's NCAA Tournament history.

"They're (teammates) the people that have to get me the ball and take care of the ball bringing it up the court," Appel said.

"I was going to do whatever it took for our seniors and win this game."
