Andrew Bogut to Host Bushfire Auction in USA
With things like this and helping the Sydney Spirit last season, i am beginning to like Bogut more and more these days:
Australian Milwaukee Bucks centre Andrew Bogut will host a charity reception and auction in the United States on Sunday, April 5, to benefit individuals and communities affected by the Victorian bushfires in Australia last February.
The fourth-year veteran has also pledged to personally match whatever money is raised at the event.
"There are thousands of people in Australia right now that are relying on the generous support of other people to get through a very tragic time in their lives," said Bogut. "I'm very grateful for the support of my team and the Greater Milwaukee community in coming together to help raise money for people in my other home, Australia."
In addition to socialising with some familiar Bucks personalities, guests will also have the chance to bid on premium auction items, including a LeBron James jersey, Kobe Bryant's shoes, other sports memorabilia and Milwaukee Bucks items.
