Pretty sure he's not. You're thinking of Jack Bendat. Vlahov is more of a gun for hire these days, helping out a couple of clubs on the East coast I heard?

Not sure if he is/was the first choice though. The article in the West is all about Bevo (although the online version mentions Wright in the final sentence).
