Rockets forward Carl Landry shot
HOUSTON Rockets forward Carl Landry was shot in the leg yesterday and is expected to miss between one and three weeks of play, the NBA team said.

"Landry and a female passenger were driving southeast of downtown Houston about 2.30am yesterday (18.30 AEST) in Landry's sport utility vehicle when it was first sideswiped then struck by another car, Houston Police Department spokesman Kese Smith said.
Two men got out of the car and confronted Landry.
One of the men twice fired a gun at the 25-year-old basketball player, Mr Smith said."
