Melbourne Tigers hoping to play abroad

There's an article in the Herald Sun today that talks about the Melbourne Tigers' hopes of playing a couple of "home" games outside of Melbourne next season. They're seriously looking at Hong Kong, and also aiming to play a game in Hobart.

"It is expected Chinese businessman Bing Liu, whose company Golden Star International is a Tigers shareholder, will drive the Hong Kong game, which would allow the Tigers added exposure for major sponsor Haier, a massive Chinese operation."

if they can get it to work more power to them, just dont want us playing them and then having to backup the next week. It would be nice tough to have our own bball situation rock solid before we look overseas although it may bring in some cash so who knows.
