Another classic: Darryl Pearce

Messenger Community News goes old school this week, reliving the 1990 Forestville v South Grand Final at Apollo Stadium. Since Darryl Pearce lives in Melbourne, he couldn't help us with recapturing the moment, so we took it to the streets...

i was lucky enough to be at the game. Pearce was ridiculous. Basically South resigned to almost rugby tackling him on d and he was still hitting shots.

That South team had i think 8 guys on it that played NBL as well.

Another classic from you and Browny, Clarkey!! Good job so far with the clips.

Have a listen to Browny at around the 2.20min mark having a dig at the bloke when he says that he knew Pearce was going to keep shooting like he was.. HAHAHA. Typical Browndog response.

As a kid, my old man used to crap on about friggin Rowley Park all the bloody time!

Phil and Clarkey are lucky bastards to not have to put up with Rowley Park stories!!!
