Yes it had been delayed by hot weather and venue unavailability, but went ahead last night.

They have just released a tonic that can get dying athletes who miss testing on Thursdays back up on their feet for Friday's game.

Anon, for some unknown reason it always seems to be the sturt players that have to adhere to the no training no playing rule........

Anon, I think you will find the aforementioned club don't let their players play on Friday night if they don't sit out Thursday due to injury or sickness. Please provide examples if this is not the case. If so then stop trolling.

oi Pulteney, things mixed got you up.

The rule of the aforementioned club is:
A player is not allowed to play if, due to claimed injury, (s)he is unable to train during the last training before a game.

or: After being sick or recovering from an injury, one should start off with at least one training before playing a game.

This is a great rule. It protects the player from undue pressure from coaches, parents, team mates etc. to perform while not well yet and it motivitates the players not take sick leave just because they don't feel like training today.
