Who will win tonight? Perth v Crocs

It will be an interesting battle tonight, bigs against the smalls.

Redhage v Ellis has potential ejection written all over it especially with Redhage's passionate demeanour.

I am thinking Crocs with the upset.

Crocs are at $4 but I think they have to be a strong chance, even without Robertson. If Williams gets Hinson in foul trouble early, that could cause trouble for Perth even with Caporn around as back up.

Hopefully whoever gets through does so unscathed so they can beat up on the Dragons a bit and soften them up in case the 36ers or Breakers make it to the GF series! ;)

There is A LOT of smack being talked in the lead up to this!

listen to the 3 or 4 audio bits on NBL.com.au

and also have a read of this http://www.perthwildcats.com.au/default.aspx?s=newsdisplay&id=77542

I CAN'T WAIT

Crocs by 11 - btw Crocs are $3.50 head to head (perth $1.28)... Perth have 7.5 start in line betting... Crocs by 10+ is $10 - I'm going to put a lobster on that!!!

SO PUMPED - I will be screaming if there is ANOTHER thunderstorm here tonight, that will mean the Austar will cut out and I will be at home looking after my kids without the game on. (I might even take them to the pub with me if that happens)

When Williamson is shooting well, the Crocs get a significant boost. Combine that with Rillie, and you have trouble for the Cats.

NBL Live Scores can be glacial sometimes. Two offenders appear to be their stats script and an ad banner script (which isn't even serving an ad!) - take those out, and I think the speed from Sporting Pulse would be far better.

Watch the status bar when the page is loading and you'll see it stick on adsfac.net for a bit each time. Frustrating.

Fez he is hitting them from anywhere and everywhere balanced un balanced most alarming thing is that Perth are leaving him shoot they would be better fouling tville and put them to the line they are woeful from there.

Hinder playing well plus caporn and Loughton.

Rillie 9/14 from downtown no player has made 10 three pointers in a final and the most 3s in a game is 13.

JR has defiantely had a blinder, having said that, the Crocs seem to be running out of steam in this 3rd quarter- they've lead by an average of 10 for pretty much the whole game and now there's one point in it!
Too hard too soon?

possibly tvill have nothing more to give perth have a lot of room for improvement. they jumped back into contention at the beginning of the 3rd but then twille blew it out. the crowd may give perth a needed boost. williams has a quiet 19points

Homicide went a bit too far for mine. You won an elimination final in Perth, thats huge, and the perth fans are jerks, but probably no reason to be swearing at the camera like a freakin gangsta. Great game though, and with a 3-1 record over the Dragons should actually make for a decent series.

Adelaide Melbourne will be worth a watch too ;)

I think stuff like this is fantastic for the game. Would have to say its the best game of nbl I have seen. So much entertainment. Whether or not Homicide went too far is irrelevant because it is games like this that will get bums in seats.

Yeah the Crocs have South 3-1 for the season but, as Homicide himself said, the Wildcats had them 3-1 for the season and that didn't matter on the night.
Gotta also consider that T'ville have only won 2 playoff games away...EVER! to make the final they'll need to win 2 out of 3 against the team with the best home record in the league.
Does anyone think they can actually pinch the series? I don't think it'll even go to 3. Dragons sweep.

Was an awesome game. It's a shame foxtel IQ decided to stop recording with 2 minutes to go so I didn't see the ending!!

Remind's me of Rick Brunson waving bye to the crowd there in the quarter finals back in the day.

It was good to see Perth lose. However, I think Townsville will get slaughtered in the Semi's! Better to be there, then to not be there.

Hey Connor.....here's a game plan. Stop Rillie and you win!
The way he was defended was a disgrace. Obviously it wasn't a priority because the time and space he was allowed and open looks he got tells me he wasn't a main focus defensively. T'Ville simply do not have enough scorers to beat you, so do a job on JR and you win, plain and simple. Bad and stupid loss Perth. Well done to Townsville though and a great great game to watch, one of the best I've seen, ever!

Foxtel IQ works to the scheduled programme start and end times shown in the electronic Programme Guide, plus any buffer time that you might have set in your IQ system settings. I've got mine set to start recording 1 minute earlier than the scheduled start and stop ten minutes after the secheduled end (which from memory might be the maximum extra time you can set).

None of which helps when the broadcast runs for longer than that, as it did last night!

Ohh I freakin hate that so much KingJames and beagle. It's amazing my IQ box hasn't been smashed in a tantrum yet after all the times I've missed close finishes to games. Just on Sunday It cut out with 2mins to go in the Freo-Rich game, right before Richo kicked the winning goal. "End of recorded program" has got to be the worst sentence on earth. I should probably do what you do beagle but that would take up a bit of memory by recording the extra ten minutes on half-hour shows that never run over. I usually just tape the program right after the game but sometimes I forget. Is it that hard to get the schedule right though?! Bloody FoxSports and ESPN!
