In a ten team league a top 5 or 4 would be better. Top 8 ridiculous, top 6 from 10 teams nearly as ridiculous.
Anyone know the definate teams that will be in next year, as well as the 90% likely, 80%, 5% etc?

There will probably be 6 in the league, so I would guess a top 3-4.
Maybe just play it like the premier league, top team wins? But that won't work for a number of reasons.
1 - Less games, less money from fox and sponsors
2 - Teams that can't win will lose interest from fans

Is it even definate that there will be a league after this season ?
I don't think too many people have come forward with their one million bank guarantee and $500k working capital yet....
Maybe McPeake can field 8 Tigers teams to make up the numbers.

Not much would be definite right now. Still a week or so before applications are due.

How can anybody know how many teams will be in, let alone how many teams will qualify for finals when the NBL only had their meeting with prospective parties on Thursday and applications aren't due until 27th?
They then have 4 weeks from then to assess whether the interested parties can tick all the boxes of requirements or not.
Maybe ask closer to the end of March- until then it's like asking how many grains of sand are there on the average beach!
