Where to watch the 36ers v Breakers Final?

The game will be live on Foxsports at 5pm on Thursday. Be a good opportunity to go somewhere and watch the game as a group if anyone is interested?

I normally watch Fox games at the Bombay Bicycle Club, however, they rarely have the sound up.

Any suggestions as to where would be a good place?

Anyone keen to join/invite me? :-)

The Holdfast at Glenelg has shown a few NBL games in the past, but I dont know for sure whether this one will be on there or not.

Any chance of them putting up a big screen at the Dome and charging a gold coin which they could donate to the BushFire Appeal?

They'd get a decent crowd one would think.

Asking too much, maybe??

Be good if they could open up the Apollo Room to watch it up there actually.

However, Im pretty sure, Foxtel aint installed at the Dome, so that is unlikely.

Reckon I might go the Casino.

I would suggest to you guys the Rosemont, Corner of Morphett & Hindley Street.

There is a separate room which holds 20-30 (rough guess) people and has a big screen TV with sound. If there is enough interest someone should ask the manager if they can have it on the basketball. I am sure they would be happy to accommodate this.

I have watched it in that room before and its much better then watching it at the casino with no sound.

You would probably have to suggest it to the manager before hand as the room is used as a separate dining room.

Nah, hasn't been me.

I will give the club a call tomorrow and see if anything is being arranged at all. Sounds like its gonna be the Stag or the Casino for me.

Hey guys, I'm keen to watch the game too. I like Kingjames suggestion of the Rosemont. The main room is good there.

If the club is organising something at the Stag, that would be cool too though. Skip, have you heard anything yet today?

Just in from Paul Bauer

"The Stag is all booked for Thursday night. It will be upstairs and all 36ers fans are welcome. We can fit 250 people up there. The Stag will do some drink specials for everyone and we have four plasma's up there to watch the game on. We can access it from 4.30pm onwards."

So , I hope to see a heap of Sixers fans there!
