Actually the grand prix was highly successful in Adelaide, and is still regarded as one of the best tracks in the world.
It was John Olsen's wife and her save the parklands friends that wanted motor sport out of the city. When your husbands the Premier its amazing what you can pull. He let Victoria take it, then accused them of stealing it in an effort to save face and not show that he put his wifes thoughts before the people.

Her did a great job of the Sydney Olympics as well. he problem he has had with the 36ers is that its his money that determined the success.

the adelaide GP was regarded as the BEST in the world when he ran it, again olsens wife and the fact bernie was dealing under the table with kennet for some big $$$$


but yeah for sure he F'ed it up, right, damn i thought school holidays where over, then again hot weather policy so that might lead to this tools post or the fact hes a school drop out
