TEN HD NBA Kicking Off Real Soon

We all know and it's been talked about recently that Ten HD will be showing the NBA ASAP.

This week's TV Week now confirms it.

I think there is a game on HD straight after the Superbowl.

Then come Friday 6th Feb we'll see Lakers Vs Celtics on Ten HD.

11:30am Live or 8:30pm Replay on HD.

Things look like they could be on the rise. This is great for basketball fans. Finally some FTA action.

sweet, ten hd is the only station to have put on content of any note and its good to see it finally rolling on. When is the rest of freeview kicking off?

That's right before the Superbowl and around 11:30pm Monday night replay again after the Superbowl.

Things are looking up.

Good choice of matches to start off with.

I have a standard definition set top box and was wondering what I should be looking at buying so I can watch Ten HD One...

Any suggestions and rough pricing guides? TIVO looks OK, but are there any other options for recording as well? Thanks guys...

Personally, I would recommend the Topfield twin tuner HD set top box. I think Radio Rentals sell them. I have the SD version and it it a mile ahead of any other I've seen. Hopefully, the HD version is as good.

Then look for an add-on from Andy Cullen in Aus. It's a program called ProgressBarKeys which is only about $20 (I think) and improves some of the functions (skipping over adverts, setting programs, etc).

Thanks RG...looking at the Topfield TF7100 HD PVR with twin HD tuners, you can record two shows at once or watch one and record another. Can get it for under $600. Might be a trip down to the shops this weekend for me.
