Its still a long way to a grand final!!!! Who says they are going to get there. 4 points isnt a huge win

Was a very lucky win in my opinion. Refs were very ordinary and called some very bias calls in the last quarter. Valk keeped the one player who got them back into the game on the bench the whole last quarter! Sam had 16 points at the 3 quarter time break and hit close to 7 of their last points for the quarter and didn't get a second in the last quarter!!! Even when Duke got fouled off Valk didn't put in her leading scorer and her captain. Who else would you want in the game going down the stretch???
Very lucky win and pretty ordinary coaching by Valk...

Panther you are totally right.

That was jungle ball for a half, then the stupidity of townsville fouling with 1.17 to go and only down by 2????

What about the time out when we had just hit a 3 to tie.....OMG.

Francis had a dirty game. Still started the 4th??wtf.

Very lucky win imho.

Do agree somewhat about Woosnam as she was playing really well but the lightnings defence was realy tight and i thought Bowley played excellent minutes and deserves more. She is so tough on defence and holds her own down the offence end. Agree re Francis, had a very ugly night but did hit her free throws down the stretch. Thought it was a very intense, final like game and they came out very flat but to their credit fought back from 16 points to win the game. Cant ask for much more, townsville are a quality outfit.

talk about lightning, a top hat and a rabbit.

we looked done and dusted for 2/3 of the game.

it almost looked planned to rest marino until cox was spent then and huge nba 3 by foley and great run by woosnam to get us going.
