Could Adelaide (the city) have another NBL team?

Is it possible?

Is there somewhere close by, maybe an hour away that could sustain an NBL team?

One team is struggling, and with the economic climate the way it is, the 36ers will struggle for sponsorship moving forward past this season.

We have between two and 3three thousand seats empty from week to week. I'd suggest we fill those first.

Not at this point in time. Not enough $ to support two teams in Adelaide.

As mentioned before, we have to know what the newNBL is. There's been suggestions from Isaac and Gaze , regarding a semi-pro league, with a second adelaide team, and maybe AIS Canberra etc.
And, the pro league for the sixers, tigers, wildcats etc.

Watch out for the 6er Day Adventers, from a City of Churches near you. Won't practice or play on Sunday, so massive incentives for sopnsors on a budget.

If the adelaide to barossa line reopens and i become a millionaire i'l stick a team in the valley, make it out of corrugated iron and paint it black so that the oposition faints on arrival. I reckon Gawler/the barossa could sustain a team with a 3500 seater stadium.

I don't usually bite, but DD, as much as I love random off beat humour, that was utterly pathetic.

Sorry Loco, didn't mean to offend.
I've sent a note to the mods to deal with it.

Hmmm, I'm sure Isaac has nothing better to do than delete posts that aren't funny DDFan.

It's ok - I don't even remember what I may or may not have been offended about to be honest.

Not really Isaac, I'm too easy going.

BTW, by all means let everyone know how my (innocent by your standards in a PM communication) bad Mahervellous quip, got deleted by a fellow modder. ; )

The Dome rats again?

No, would've been one of the mods as I don't recall it. There are 8 or so mods after all.
